Location for Warehousing and Distribution to be Decided in March 2011

Dec. 19, 2010 - PRLog -- While L.R.Caldwell International Inc is not consided an American company, some key Directors and decission makers in the company are Americans.  
"The decission to move both the warehousing and distribution operations was simply a matter of doing the right thing. With the new Econo-Line Party Plan beginning in January 2011, the bulk of our customers will be American.
American's can't buy products if they're out of work, our goal was to create both jobs and opportunity for many Americans. Warehousing in the USA will save the company money in shipping cost from abroad, but the savings are completely off-set by the expected expenses of the high tax rates imposed on companies doing business in the USA.
High taxes and high labor cost means such a move will lower the profits of LRCI on their US operations as much as 45%.  
Such cuts in profit could only be considered acceptable by the shareholds because only Directors can own shares of the company.  By placing the needs of the many over the gains of the few,  LRCI is doing something few businesses would even consider, especially in today's uncertain economy.
If American government regulators are serious about creating more jobs, they will ease many of the wasteful and tiring Red-tape incurred by businesses today.
Bringing manufacturing jobs back to the USA is a high priority of LRCI, but as it currently stands, governmental regulations skillfully keep many manufacturers out of the USA.
We will continue talking with city councils to work out a means to bring some manufacturing jobs back.  Without a joint effort on the part of both government and business, more and more manufacturing jobs can be expected to be lost.
