By: Woya.com Woya.com, a consumer product research site, analyzed the price fluctuation of over 3,400 consumer electronics from 11 popular categories in the 2009 holiday season, using data gathered from major online stores and price comparison sites including Amazon, Ebay, Cnet, Shopzilla, and Yahoo Shopping. The study finds that: •Price went up for 32.6% of the products during After Christmas Sale by an average of 12.1%; •Price went down for 33.6% of the products during After Christmas Sale by an average of 9.3%; If the data from 2009 holiday season is a fair representation of the general trend, consumers should jump on the best deals now instead of waiting till after Christmas.
