Dec. 16, 2010 - PRLog -- In the past few years, tough economic times have brought hardship to many American homeowners. Job loses, pay freezes and the housing crisis are among many issues that have placed a burden on Americans. Mortgage, car and bill payments have all become a struggle, and for some, putting food on the table has become an everyday challenge. The payment of assessments to homeowner associations have now become even harder to do.

Today the Parker Finch Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting struggling families residing in Parker Finch managed communities make HOA assessment payments, kicked off with its first recipient granted funds.

“We are thrilled about the creation of the Foundation and will use it to assist struggling families and support the homeowner associations. When homeowners are unable to pay assessments, it greatly affects the financial stability of the association, resulting in limited services to the community and the deterioration of neighborhood value.” said Joanna Kalisz, program administer for the Foundation.

The Foundation was created earlier this year after Parker Finch Management, a leading community association management firm based in Phoenix, saw the financial strain homeowners were facing and the effects it had on communities. The Foundation helps those who apply get through these tough times with the intent to maintain the quality of the community and increase home values.

“We are truly thankful for the assistance with our bill. I would recommend that others get into the system and ask for help if they need it,” said The Rios Family, the first recipient granted aid from the Foundation. “A lot of companies do not get to know or care about the people who reside within its communities, and I think they should take from this and help people. The Foundation was a wonderful idea.”

The gracious financial support of various vendors, contractors and professionals that work within the communities managed by Parker Finch have allowed the Foundation to launch.

Homeowners residing in Parker Finch managed communities that wish to express their challenges and request assistance can do so at www.parkerfinch.org. If you would like to help the Foundation by financial contribution, a check can be sent to Parker Finch Foundation at 209 E. Baseline Road #E208 Tempe, AZ 85283.   You may also contact the office via phone at 602.508.1974 ext. #114 and speak to Joanna Kalisz, Program Administrator.
