By: Aerodyne Typical applications for the GatorGate Double-Dump Valve are dry material handling and bulk material handling in wood, scrap metal, plastics, cement, and various manufacturing industries. Available in three standard sizes of 8”, 10”, and 12” inlet diameters, they can handle flow rates from 85cu-ft/hr up to 320cu-ft/hr, and withstand temperatures up to 750°F. Their design provides low maintenance in dust collection, mixing, batch feeding, drying, material recovery, and gravity fed hopper operations where rotary valves fail. All gate valves are made with heavy duty carbon steel, gear reducers, cam mechanisms, and easy-access cleanout doors that don’t require tools. Optional features include stainless steel construction, an explosion proof motor, pneumatic air cylinders, and diaphragm actuators.
