Dec. 14, 2010 - PRLog -- The Original LaJames College Beauty School of Mason City, Iowa celebrates the holiday season in style! Multiple holiday-themed happenings will make the season bright at La James this December. LaJames, also known as La'James or La James, is a full curriculum diploma-based beauty college teaching hair styling, cosmetology, massage therapy, skin care esthiology and nail technology.

To make holiday style accessible to all, LaJames College is running coupon specials in local newspapers. Beauty makes a great holiday gift, and a coupon for a massage or a nail treatment is always appreciated.

On December 10, La James encourages students to participate in Holiday Dress-up Day! "Get out your Santa hats, reindeer ears, and elf hats."

The Santa Bucks Auction on December 22 is a major event at La James Beauty School. Students work towards earning "Santa Bucks" throughout the month of December. "Bucks" are earned via academic achievements, such as a perfect test score or a perfect attendance record. Then, at the auction, students can use their Bucks to bid on exciting prizes, includes mystery prizes wrapped in brown paper.

LaJames College will be closed from December 23 through December 27, 2010 for students and staff to enjoy the holiday with family and friends.

When students return from their break, the celebration will continue! The La James New Year's party and Open House is scheduled for December 29, 2010. For the Open House, prospective students will tour the college, visit the dorms, and learn about available scholarships. For the party, there will be party hats, noisemakers, sparkling beverages, and plenty of snack food and fun.
