Christmas Open House at the LOFT on December 17th, holiday shopping that benefits social causes

December 17th the free Christmas Open House at the LOFT in Costa Mesa brings together businesses that support causes and non-profits; including; Kauzbots, International Princess Project, Chains for Chains, Global Sticky Network and Soul Survivor.

Dec. 14, 2010 - PRLog -- The annual Christmas Open House at the LOFT brings together locally-based, international sellers of products that give back and non-profit organizations focused on helping people in the Costa Mesa – Newport Beach area and across the globe.   The Christmas Open House at the LOFT in Placentia Plaza situated in Costa Mesa, California will occur Friday, December 17th from 3pm – 7pm and is a free event open to the public.  The public will have a chance to view and purchase unique products from designers and sellers that are focused on giving back, as well as meeting the people behind the companies.   It is also a chance for local residents to discover organizations that are focused on helping people spiritually, with recovery, relationships and maintaining integrity in life.  The event will include unique shopping, music by recording artist Matt Shockley, an art exhibit by Ty Rose, "Water to Wine to Water" bottle art by Bev Klopfenstein, free refreshments and snacks, as well as plenty of holiday cheer.

The Christmas Open House at the LOFT is located in Placentia Plaza at 1954 Placentia Ave, Suite 108 in Costa Mesa, CA. Placentia Plaza offers abundant parking in a underground lot and surface level parking in front of the businesses.  

Businesses participating in the Christmas Open House that reside at the LOFT include; Kauzbots, International Princess Project and Chains for Chains.   Non-Profit Organizations participating in the event that utilize the LOFT include; Global Sticky Network and Soul Survivor.

Kauzbots produces 10 different plush toy robots to support non-profits and inspire kids and adults to change the world, one cause at a time. The colorful Kauzbots robots are “Robots with a Heart”, each having a cause that is close to their heart.  Causes include autism, environment, homelessness, hunger, breast cancer, pediatric health, clean water, HIV/AIDS, refugees and more. A portion of the proceeds of each Kauzbots purchase supports a non-profit focused on the cause the robot represents.  

International Princess™ Project helps women in India restore their lives after being rescued from forced prostitution. The ladies create PUNJAMMIES™, beautiful drawstring pajama pants made from Indian fabrics, which provide training, job opportunities, fair trade wages, and freedom for women who would otherwise have none. Soul Survivor is a church that longs to see people equipped to handle the higher purposes of life and not be distracted by daily concerns that can leave us feeling empty. Sould Survivor is a church where lifestyle and spiritual growth matters.   They are not a church that is just a random gathering of strangers; meeting6 9 as a community to encourage, challenge and appreciate each other.

All the participants of the Christmas Open House include businesses and organizations that reside, meet or exhibit at the LOFT.  The LOFT is a new office concept in Costa Mesa that aligns with the popular emerging nationwide trend of office space that is home to numerous organizations that can have synergistic relationships.  The organizations that call the LOFT home were carefully brought together by Keith Page.  “The LOFT has become ‘home’ for many outside-the-box people, groups, and organizations who seek to do good in the world.  We feel the Christmas Open House open house is a great way for the community to learn we are here, we want to know you and discover more ways we can help” said Keith Page manager of the LOFT.
