Dec. 14, 2010 - PRLog -- Who has never had - or at least coveted - a skull spangled scarf by  Alexander McQueen?
This popular garment, which has quickly become the fetish accessory for the younger celebrities, is a cult piece and quite the "must have" detail.
Sadly Alexander McQueen, young and successful stylist, known as a provocative artist died on 11th of february, at the peak of his career. He was found dead in his flat in London, possibly a suicide.
Son of a cab-driver, Alexander dropped off school at the age of 16, moving to Milan at 20 in order to work for Romeo Gigli.
In 1996 McQueen gets hired as creative director for Givenchy, eeffectively replacing John Galliano. He would work there till 2001 when he joined the Gucci Group in Firenze. This marks the beginning of the most happy and creative part of his carreer.
The fashion scene - both british and global -lost one of his most transgressive geniuses: every catwalk was a display of creative ingenuity that will be sorely missed.
Realvanity.com has chosen to pay homage to this genius in future initiatives.
Stay tuned for more information.
