Party with Purpose – Tip Off New Year’s Eve 2011 at the Top of the Palms

Dec. 14, 2010 - PRLog -- Las Vegas, NV, December 14, 2010 -- This New Year’s Eve hundreds of Las Vegas locals and visitors will celebrate in STYLE by ringing in 2011 at the Palms Casino Resort in the Hardwood Fantasy Suite. Hosted by Las Vegas entrepreneur and philanthropist, Mark Curry, this event is open to EVERYONE who supports connecting foster children and their siblings. Sponsors and donors have been secured, and the event is well on its way to reaching its goal of raising $40,000 or more for the charity of choice, Child Focus, Inc. and their program Camp to Belong NV – a program that reunites siblings separated in foster care.

The event is truly a party with passion and with a purpose. The Hardwood Fantasy Suite will be transformed into a high-energy, luxurious ultra-lounge featuring VIP exclusive areas, high-end entertainment all night long, and music by world renowned DJs - DJ NATHAN SCOTT (Skam Artists | Chicago and Las Vegas) and the UK’s leading sound artist DJ MIKEY GALLAGHER (Ministry of Sound | Los Angeles). Local celebrities and special guest, rock musician and urban sensation, AVERY WATTS, are attending to honor the cause.

Child Focus, Inc and their program Camp to Belong NV will directly benefit from the proceeds – Record fundraising amounts are the goal. A portion of all ticket sales will directly benefit the charity, and the event sponsors will directly support the fundraising effort. Everyone can donate online at www.firstgiving.org/childfocus. The goal is to raise a record amount from a single event for the charity and to make a major positive impact on the organization’s ability to provide counseling, resources, and support to those most in need of being reconnected as families. Sponsors and top donors are provided special benefits and an invitation to a private VIP reception in the Palms Recording Studios to kick off the festivities. Media and members of the press are invited to attend.

The charity’s primary benefactor will be the event’s host, Mark Curry - entrepreneur, philanthropist, Vegas local and business owner..
