Dec. 13, 2010 - PRLog -- His Highness Sheikh Butti Bin Suhail Al Maktoum greeted His Excellency Mian Shahbaz Sharif, the Chief Minister of the Punjab and his top key players at the world’s luxurious and only seven star hotel, Burj Al Arab. The exclusive investment opportunity exploration session was organized by the top business conglomerate namely Royal Emirates Group which is chaired by His Highness Sheikh Butti Bin Suhail Al Maktoum and represented by Dr. Kaiser Rafiq – Managing Director and Partner of the group.

The Royal Emirates Group comprises 64 constituent firms, 150 sponsored enterprises and 230 joint ventures. Dr Kaiser Rafiq Group Managing Director made a concise presentation of the various activities of the group and welcomed the initiative of the Chief Minister of Punjab to encourage Pakistani industries to collaborate with UAE enterprises to transfer innovative ideas for mutual benefit and further closer relations between the peoples of the two countries.

Dr. Kaiser Rafiq highlighted the role of Royal Alliances LLC - a Group Venture established with start-up capital of US$ 450 million with the focused purpose of investment in Pakistan of which he pledged to allocate US$ 200 Million to the Punjab.
Thereafter Dr Kaiser briefed the gathering with some of the social development projects initiated by the Group in association with the Government and executed through Royal Alliances such as the Skill Development & Placement Program, Mobile Water Purification Systems, and Low Cost Housing.

Directors of Royal Alliances Mr. Khurram Haris and Mr. Basham Junejo briefed the Chief Minister regarding the output of the previous meetings held with the PBIT.

His Highness Sheikh Butti Bin Suhail thanked His Excellency the Chief Minister and stated that “We are pleased that the relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan are warm and friendly and the hearts of the both of the nations throb together. The United Arab Emirates and Royal Emirates Group welcomes the idea of working closely with the Pakistani Government by transferring similar innovative ideas which enabled United Arab Emirates to reach the zenith of modernization”.  
Mian Shahbaz Sharif thanked His Highness Sheikh Butti Bin Suhail Al Maktoum, Dr. Kaiser Rafiq and other board directors for their hospitality and explained in details about how his administration is working hard to develop the most transparent and sufficient one window operation to facilitate the foreign investors.

As a gesture of fraternal felicitations His Highness Sheikh Butti Al Maktoum presented the Chief Minister a Seal of the United Arab Emirates and Mr. Shahbaz Sharif reciprocated with an exquisite Pakistani carpet. Both leaders expressed the hope that the initiative taken by Royal Emirates Group will lead to both commercial and social benefits between the two nations in future.
