Phone that Looks like a Wallet

Dec. 11, 2010 - PRLog -- The L189 is a dual sim with audio, video, radio, and an inbuilt camera. I can pretty much throw out all my other electronics and survive with just this one. The twin-sim function makes it two phones in one, and the other features make it my TV, video, radio, stereo, and camcorder.  It also has JAVA and is Wi-fi enabled, so I could shoot a movie and post in online if I wanted to.
The two things that I look for in a phone are beauty and a big screen. It also helps if it has music, and a delivery report feature. This phone has all that and then some. The cool thing about this phone is that it looks different. The navigation or scroll keys aren’t in the middle like on regular phones. They actually sit a little on the right, like an asymmetric ponytail. That alone sets it apart from other mobile phones.
But there’s more. The phone comes with its own carry case, a sleek black jacket that makes your phone look like a wallet. It not only keeps the screen shiny and clean, it also adds to the phone’s appeal. These days, phones are like cars when it comes to attracting dates, and the leather case certainly scores more points.  The carry case isn’t just for looks either. The L189 is deliciously light at just over 100g, and has a high resolution camera with 1280 by 1024 pixels. It’s a bar phone, which is always a good thing in my book. Flip and slide phones are just asking for trouble. Plus, it’s a lot harder to change the back cover of a flip phone.
This phone has a touch pad and handwriting input. I’ve always liked this because it gives the cell phone a sentimental quality. It’s almost like writing a note in my journal or notebook, and it makes sending text messages that much more personal.
Another thing I like about this phone is that it has Bluetooth, G Sensor and GPS, so it can help you find your way around. It can also help someone find you in case you get lost. All they have to do is synchronise their phone with yours and they’ll know where you are at all times. Of course, this can be a bad thing if you’re somewhere that you’re not supposed to be.
In addition to FM, the phone has a scheduled FM recorder, which means you can programme it to record your favourite radio shows so you can listen to them later. It has other standard features like 5 alarm groups and a phonebook with up to 1000 contacts.
