The new fashion event recognizing the very best of fashion and its talent , influential people in fashion today across Sussex.

More than 500 fashion nominations have been received to date for the 11 awards up for grabs including the headline Award, ‘Sussex Fashion Emerging Talent Award 2011'

With as many nominated product categories being represented as possible, from menswear to dancewear, resortwear to kidswear the Director of the event, Michaela Walker, said

‘The Fashion Sussex team are simply thrilled with the enormous and quite staggering response from nominees to date.   The closing date is just before Christmas 2010 and hope that as shoppers are out and about doing their Christmas Shop, they will remember to nominate the best store, or etailer, or designer they have just shopped at’...

There are 9 Judges who wlll be deciding from a short list of nominations in January 2011

Clearly the judges, nominees, fashion industry are all getting behind this new event being staged in a stunning church location, 24 February 2011, in Brighton & Hove, with mentions even in  The Houses of Parliament this week, Wednesday, 8 December, by another of our Judges, Mike Weatherley, MP, representing Hove & Portslade during the Role of tourism in regenerating seaside towns.  

A special private Press launch is being staged, 14 January 2011, where the shortlisted nominees will be announced, meeting the judges and VIP's.
