New Cleveland Charity Affairs Event Posted: Annual Justice Rocks Event

Dec. 9, 2010 - PRLog -- hares YP, the young professionals group of Community Shares, will host the annual “Justice Rocks!” concert on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at the Beachland Tavern, 15711 Waterloo Road, Cleveland. Doors will open at 8:00 p.m. and bands will begin playing at 9:00 p.m.

The concert will feature local bands the Crooked River Blues Band, Wooly Bullies, Madame and the Moist Towelettes, and Founding Fathers. Information on Community Shares and other social justice organizations will also be available.

Admission costs $10. There will also be an opportunity for attendees to purchase raffle tickets for fantastic prizes. All proceeds will be donated to Community Shares. Tickets may be purchased at the door, by calling (216)383-1124 or online at www.beachlandballroom.com or www.communityshares.org.

Shares YP was formed in early 2009 after several young Community Shares supporters expressed an interest in forming a group specifically for young professionals working in the non-profit sector. This marks the second annual Justice Rocks! concert sponsored by Shares YP.

Community Shares is a collaboration of 41 progressive organizations working for real change. Shares provides an easy, effective way for people, through gifts at work, to support the social justice missions of our members.
