Distributing Free Accounting Software

Dec. 9, 2010 - PRLog -- DES 1.2 is currently available for free at http://www.accountingdes.com. This version of our accounting software is distributed for free, at no charges. User will find its simple interface and reporting tools interesting and helpful in managing their daily business activities. Our software contains Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Inventory (IV), Cash (CB) and Value Added Tax (VAT) that integrates directly with our General Ledger (GL) modules, giving user real-time information and up to date reports. DES 1.2 currently supports multi-currency transactions.

The features of DES is as follows:
1) Pre-configured chart of account, allowing user immediate use after installation
2) Automate computation and posting of VAT Input and VAT Output
3) Automate computation of inventory costing (FIFO or AVERAGE basis)
4) Automate credit control, preventing sale to customer that exceeds credit limit
5) Automate matching of collection and payment from customer and creditor
6) Automate computation of realised gain or loss on receipt or payment.
7) Facilitate computation of unrealised gain or loss for AR and AP balance at year-end
8) Printing of stock movement, stock ageing and stock balance report
9) Printing of actual cash flow and forecast report
10) Printing of Trial Balance, Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and GL Listing report
11) Printing of Delivery Order, Sales Invoice, Statement of Account
