Dec. 7, 2010 - PRLog -- Beaumont, TX (December 3, 2010) – Christmas is a time of wonder for children.  But for some area children, Christmas can be a time of broken hearts.  Classic Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC of Beaumont, TX, in conjunction with area police departments aim to bring a merry Christmas to those children through the Blue Santa Program.  For every vehicle purchased in December, Classic Southeast Texas will donate bicycles to a Santa in Blue in the car buyer’s hometown.  The bicycles will then be given to children of needy families in the area in time for Christmas. http://www.classicchevybeaumont.com/

Each year the Blue Santa program provides gifts to hundreds of underprivileged children 1 to 16 years old throughout Southeast Texas so they can experience the magic and joy of the Christmas season. The Blue Santa program is a non-profit organization which operates solely from donations and contributions from within the community.

"The idea here, is it's all about the families, the needy, that might wake up on Christmas morning with nothing under their tree," explained Anthony Toups, general sales manager at Classic. "We extremely excited to team up with our local police departments because with a program like Blue Santa, we can reach a lot of these kids and truly make a difference in our community.  It also gives our customers a chance to give back as well this Christmas.”
