New Vancouver Community Real Estate Website Launches

Condo Score is a new independent community review website for property buyers and sellers. If you want to buy property in the Greater Vancouver area, first search for buildings by area, map or address, then read the reviews and check the Condo Score.

A Condo Score is based on several things including buildings maintenance, location, people and amenities.  The Condo Score is created in real time and averages out based on the number of reviews for each building. Condo Scoring can be used by virtually all condo buyers today. A review based Condo Score gives a good overall picture of a building for potential owners: maintenance, location, people, and amenities are all rated between 1 to 5 stars.  

Condo Score benefits buyers and sellers. With about 3000 condominium buildings in BC, the amount of information regarding condo buildings can  be a bit daunting, and sometimes not all information is available. All condos are not the same, each and every condo is run by its own strata corporation, and its own property management company. When buying into a condo, you are buying into a community of shared ownership, strata bylaws, differing maintenance histories and varying building operating budgets. Research is important, and this is where the community reviews can come in very handy.

People trying to sell their condo can help speed up the process by writing their own reviews of the building. There may be many great things about the building that would interest potential buyers but would not be listed on other real estate websites.

One great feature on the Condo Score website include the ability to search Greater Vancouver real listings, and listings for buildings in other cities around the Lower Mainland area. Other features include the ability to order a free buildings sales report, or the ability to add buildings to the website should they be missing.

This is a pretty unique approach and a very different type of real estate website for the Vancouver area. This could be like a Facebook for the real estate industry. Soon people all over Vancouver may be asking "What's the Condo Score?".
