Valley Kids Need Your Help to Have a Merry Christmas

Dec. 6, 2010 - PRLog -- You can help prevent San Luis Valley kids in need from suffering the heartbreak and humiliation of going without gifts this Christmas. For the 5th year the employees of Dell’s Insurance (www.dellsinsurance.com) are donating their time, wrapping skills, and toys, in order to help make sure that no kid goes without a gift this Christmas – but they can’t do it without your help.

“Our clients and the community have been so generous in the past, we really can’t thank them enough, but this year we have more kids on our list than ever before.” said Maggie Cannon, Marketing Coordinator for Dell’s Insurance and the person heading up the toy drive, “And it pains me so much every time I think about how awful any kid would feel hearing about all the gifts their friends and classmates received, when they didn’t get anything.”

Toys are needed by December 17th for boys & girls of all ages up to and including teenagers. New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off Monday – Friday between 9am and 5pm at Dell’s Insurance, 510 Bell Ave. in Alamosa. The gifts will then be wrapped by the Dell’s Insurance Employees and handed out under the supervision of Rafael Maestas of Social Services in Alamosa.
