Dec. 6, 2010 - PRLog -- The Bees Awards opens today its call for 2011 Jury. Social media marketing experts from all around the world are invited to apply. Deadline is January 10, 2011.

The Bees Awards are looking for worldwide representation. Every country and every continent is invited. Candidates must prove to be professionals with experience in social media and track record either in social media, advertising, public relations, direct marketing, CRM or other marketing expertises. Brand or agency experience in social media marketing is encouraged. 

A little about us: 
The Bees Awards is the 1st international social media competition for marketing professionals. The Bees Awards reaches to advertising agencies and students around the world. It promotes and recognizes excellence in the fast growing niche of social media marketing. A jury of 20 experts from 14 countries will evaluate the best work from agencies and brands in 22 specialized categories. The event will be held at The Legion of Honor in San Francisco on May 3, 2011. 

The 2010 participant profile: 
 - Agencies from 21 countries participated, majority coming from out of
  the USA. 
 - 74% of the work submitted by large brands 
 - Half of submissions came from social media specialized agencies.
  The other half came from large agency groups. 
 - The Bees Awards directory is composed of 30,000 professionals worldwide
