Florida Residents Hope To Rally America

Dec. 6, 2010 - PRLog -- Song lyricist Joseph Kandel and musician/composer Jon Petrelli have joined forces to create a song called “We are America” to unite Americans to support our troops and to rise above these difficult times.

“I feel many people in America need a song like this to inspire them to continue to support our troops and to band together during the current recession.  Jon and I are among the many hit very hard by the recession and writing this song has been a great vehicle for hope during these difficult times.  Aside from the current economic position, there seems to be instability among our citizens.  With the influx of immigrants and the intolerance of many, it is more important than ever we consider us not a divided people but Americans,” said Kandel.

“We are America” pays tribute to those who have laid the strong foundation this country is built on and honors those in uniform who have served our country in the finest tradition of our
military.

“Like no other time in my life, have I seen so many people suffering in America. You don’t have to go far to find someone you know that is unemployed, had their house foreclosed, or filing for bankruptcy.  Yet, I strongly believe there is no greater nation than the United States of America.  I believe…now is the time to put our faith into practice to help one another, and  to overcome. It is not our government, financial institutions, nor our might that makes us strong...it is the American spirit that never stops hoping.
