Dec. 4, 2010 - PRLog -- Yellow30 Sci-Fi announces the two finalists for this year’s Pluto Award. As in the past we have had a considerable number of nominees for the award, but this year the field is a little thin due to the fact that we were on hiatus for nearly six months. However, of the nominees that we do have, there are considerable number that had a good shot at this year’s award.

One of the interesting things about this year's award is the simple fact that this is the year featured in the second Space Odyssey movies. Those two movies alone were a great influence on movie making and special effects. Perhaps in this year's finalist we’ll have a book that will rise to the occasion and go on to bigger and better things. Our authors can only hope such is the case.

The envelope please! The wait is over. The finalists for the 2010 Pluto Award are:

CROWN OF VENGEANCE by Stephen Zimmer

Remember that the winner will be announced on December 18th.
