Dec. 4, 2010 - PRLog -- Creatively presenting, choreographing an underrepresented genre of viable concert dance form in North America is no easy task. Baby Boyz Dance Group puts the D’ in dancehall, while highlighting the artistry indicative in hip – hop and progressively  connects both genres to dances of African and contemporary influences. Noted as “Toronto Star 2006 Review Top 10 best  in dance. “ by Susan Walker,  the company draws its choreographic impetus from social issues, anti-violence as it relates to social issues, youth in crisis to a plethora of music; as its canvas.

dance Immersion's 2011 presentation series features Baby Boyz Dance group in a presentation of an urban dance story told through urban contemporary dance nestled on a eclectic musical canvas depicting the lives of  three young men from Africa, Jamaica and Canada. What unites can often be what divides. All three men share one dream, but none of them could guess where that dream would lead − or how it would impact their lives and the lives of those around them. “The dancer’s are electrifying, energetic and dynamic” Neil Armstrong, The Gleaner N.A Edition.

Baby Boyz will perform March 24-26, 2011 at Harbourfront Centre’s  Enwave Theater, 231 Queens Quay West Toronto, ON M5J 2G8.  For event information please visit http://www.dindance.com or email info@dindance.com.
