This is the REAL Dell charger. A bit bigger than one that came with my Latitude D630, and uses a 3-prong plug as opposed to 2 prong, but works flawlessly. There are a LOT of junky AC adaptors available on the market which power the laptops, but will not charge the batteries. This is usually a REAL charger/adaptor. High quality. operates perfectly. Fair price...so I leave this ALWAYS at my desk in your own home ready to plug in every time I use my laptop presently there, and keep the other (original one) ALWAYS in my laptop bag thus I've got it if now i'm travelling and need it!

I used to be very skeptical about buying this kind of AC adapter. I had changed batteries in my computer and i had been still receiving a message that my AC adapter were recognized and my battery hasn't been charging. My old adapter appeared to be still powering my computer but nothing else. Dell's website has the worst reviews for the AC adapters so I thought this would be a better/cheaper route. The merchandise is working perfectly. I plugged it in plus it worked right away. My screen didn't display the "AC Adapter seriously isn't recognized" upon powering up as well as battery is charging. I am very happy about this product. I highly advocate this seller.
