I bought this originally to make this old G4 iMac wireless plus it worked brilliantly - once I'd downloaded today's feeting drivers from the Edimax site - even though it was plugged into a USB a single. 1 port. I recently bought a Macbook plus initially everything was working fine with all the wireless link-up to my Netgear router, but then I started in order to sporadically lose connection between the Mac and also the router (I think it's something to do with the Snow Leopard OS, international airport and an 11g router, because my Mac mini running Leopard includes no problems). I installed that Edimax Ralink software for snowfall Leopard, plugged in the Edimax and everything works since it should - and it's very fast and reliable. The Ralink computer software kicks in at start-up in addition to instantly finds and locks on my network. I now need different person, but think I'll try the smaller USB stick for that Macbook and put this one back on the old iMac from whence the item came.

Great little wireless adapter, accumulates signal well my hub is about 30ft & 2 rooms away nice & small, can plug towards spare usb port or via the adapter giving you about a metre of cable to allow for better positioning.
