By: British Midland International Travellers journeying to mid-haul termini such as Addis Ababa, Damascus, Cairo, Freetown, Khartoum, Tbilisi, Tehran and Yerevan from Monday 22 November will experience the beginning of an in progress refurbishment program to be complete by May 2011. Additionally, brand-new multi density foam cushions will be aboard each of these aircraft offering enhanced customer comfort in both cabins. Brand-new lighting, bulk heads and draperies bring a spacious fresh feeling to the cabin. Wolfgang Prock-Schauer, chief executive officer, bmi, commented: “We are delighted to upgrade our mid-haul aircraft in order to offer a truly competitive product.
