-- The snow may have been inconvenient for some this week but not for future pro.manchester as it set the scene for their Christmas Party ‘Networking On Ice’ held on Wednesday evening.
Surrounded by festive lights, the hustle and bustle of Christmas shoppers and a smattering of seasonal weather future pro.manchester which represents tomorrow’s leaders in the financial and professional services market encouraged over sixty professionals to get their skates on at the event held at Spinningfields Ice Rink giving them the chance to show off their skills on the ice while also sharing their business acumen.
future pro.manchester Chairman Miles Rothbury said ‘we were really pleased with the Networking on Ice idea and it’s been great to team up with Spinningfields on this event and see so many people here taking part and enjoying the festive atmosphere’
Fran Goddard, head of communications and events at Spinningfields, said ; “It’s brilliant to see Spinningfields Ice Rink used for something so unusual, and there’s no better way to break the ice with new contacts than sharing a skate! The rink coupled with The Lodge Bar is a great location for some fun networking.”
The event was part of the Professional Innovator Challenge which aims to identify Manchester’s most innovative young professionals and students through a series of short challenges.
