Follow on Google News | YMALAC Will Join "999 for Kids" Program on Sunday, Dec. 5th in Whittier, CA.The "999 for Kids" Program raises money for the purpose of purchasing special items and services for these children, i.e., sport wheelchairs, computers, special education classes, medically-oriented toys and games.
By: Rumaisa Rahman - Press/Public Relations for YMALAC YMALAC (Young Muslim American Leaders Advisory Council Board) will be serving food and handing out gifts at the "999 for Kids" Program on Sunday, Dec. 5th in Whittier, CA. This program was developed to help physically and mentally challenged children throughout Los Angeles County who are victims of the most severe cases of child abuse, neglect and family violence. A Christmas Party sponsored by the Training Bureau and an Ice Cream Social Awards Ceremony sponsored by the Special Victims Bureau are held annually. Most recently, The YMALAC Board was seen serving food to 583 of Los Angeles' homeless at Skid Row's Midnight Mission located in downtown Los Angeles.
