HICAPS, Inc. and Brindley Construction, LLC team together to win VA Pharmacy Renovation Project

Dec. 2, 2010 - PRLog -- GREENSBORO, NC – The Teaming partnership of  HICAPS, Inc., (www.hicaps.com), and Brindley Construction, LLC of Pulaski, TN, have been awarded the Pharmacy Renovation project for the Department of Veterans Affairs Alvin C. York Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN.  This was a competitive Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set aside bid that will utilize “Recovery Act” funding.  

HICAPS will lead the project as the prime general contractor utilizing Brindley’s local subcontracting pool and onsite supervision services.  Dan Hood, Co-Founder and CEO of HICAPS and former ARMY aviation unit commander commented, “It is an honor, not only to work with Brindley Construction again, but to provide services to the VA on this important project supporting our veterans.”

This $1.3M project consists of renovation work to the existing pharmacy and will include finishes, mechanical, electrical, and security upgrades as well as the relocation of the Bio-Med Department.  Both HICAPS and Brindley are members of the Jack Miller Builders Network.
