Truro based car finance company Ignition Credit have taken on Linda Pike (pictured) as an additional team member to help deal with the huge increase in sales it is currently recording.  Linda grew up in Guernsey and has worked in banking and finance since she left school.  Director Paul Caunter said “we feel extremely lucky to have found Linda who was taken on to help us get through an extremely busy time.   Things haven’t got any quieter for us at Ignition but this is no bad thing and we are delighted to welcome Linda to the team”.

Linda is a keen motorcyclist and can be quite often seen turning up to work in her leathers on her bike.  Linda has also featured in many of “Ride Safe” bike campaigns in case you think you have seen her face before somewhere.

Ignition has seen growth in its lending activities increase by over 33%.in the year, lending volumes hit £18m to the yearend July 2010.

Ignition has found that the local motor dealers enjoy dealing with a finance branch nearby to them. Business is sourced from franchise and quality used dealerships.  Paul Caunter, a specialist in motor lending with Ignition said “The sales people are there to sell cars and Ignition are able to take away the finance hassle for them leaving them free to get on and find more customers and sell more cars”.

Finally, Managing Director Alan Tutte said “Our plan is to double in size in the next three years; we aim to do this by following our already established plan to steadily increase our book of receivables and by further enhancing our reputation as ‘can do’ funders”.
