Flushing Allstate Agency Owner Paul Collura Donates $500 to Little People of America

Nov. 30, 2010 - PRLog -- Allstate agency owner Paul Collura was recently named an Agent Hero by Allstate Insurance Company’s New York Region, and awarded a $500 grant for a local youth program.

Collura donated the grant to the Long Island chapter of the Little People of America, an organization which helps those who are diagnosed with one of 300 types of dwarfism, and their families, assisting with medical guidance, edicational needs, physiological assistance, social interactions, academic scholarships and informational publications. The LPA also educates the public about dwarfism, diversity, acceptance and tolerance of those who are different.

“As an Allstate agent, I believe it is my responsibility to demonstrate the Good Hands Promise in the community every single day,” said Collura, whose office is located at 149-15 Union Turnpike in Flushing. “It is an honor to be able to donate this grant to the LPA and hopefully touch the lives of the kids who are involved.”
