Follow on Google News | NDNA’s e-Quality Counts Programme Certified by CPD UKNDNA today announced that its quality improvement scheme, e-Quality Counts, has been certified by CPD UK
As an online innovative quality improvement tool, e-Quality Counts (http://www.ndna.org.uk/ Stella Ziolkowksi, Director of Quality and Workforce Development at NDNA comments: “We are delighted that the learning and development of e-Quality Counts has been recognised with CPD UK certification. As this quality improvement programme encourages the involvement of the whole setting, e-Quality Counts supports the wider development of the staff team. High-quality staff skills are critical to being a sustainable nursery that can deliver the best possible services for children and families. Recently, Ofsted reflected in its Annual Report how being part of a quality improvement scheme has a direct correlation to inspection outcomes. Ongoing development of skills and practice is critical, and by undertaking e-Quality Counts, nurseries can identify practical ways to do this. NDNA is pleased that the value of the scheme to the professional development of the sector has been recognised, and that those undertaking the scheme can now evidence their journey in their learning and development.” For more information on e-Quality Counts please visit www.ndna.org.uk/ - Ends - Notes to editors: For more information, to arrange interviews please contact Hayley Wilson, Senior Press and Policy Officer on T: 01484 40 70 66 E: hayley.wilson@ National Day Nurseries Association is a national charity representing children’s nurseries across the UK, giving them information, training and support, so they can provide the best possible care to young children.
