A holiday open house at New England’s largest equine rescue. Visit MSSPA’s farm to kick off the holiday season, learn about providing a loving home for horses in need through the organization’
During the open house, kids can enjoy free ornament-making in the kids’ stall, visit with the animals on the farm and check out “Big Red,” the Monster Fire Truck. Handmade holiday wreathes will be raffled off every half hour and gorgeous donated Christmas trees will be also be on sale. Entertainment will be provided by 99.9 The Wolf.

The Maine State Society for the Protection of Animals (MSSPA) is the largest equine rescue and rehabilitation center in New England and one of the oldest animal welfare agencies in the country. Founded in 1872, the privately funded nonprofit organization cares for abused and neglected animals with physical or other infirmities on its 124-acre farm in Windham, Maine.
