Nov. 25, 2010 - PRLog -- INpire producer and Artist, Don B said Tuesday that their company is preparing for the biggest music project the city has ever seen. They are attempting to feature every major artist in the city on their Green Lights mixtape commemorating the city of Greenville, South Carolina. The INpire intends to distribute the tape to some of the most renown DJ’s in the City. Don B was quoted stating, “This mixtape is an attempt to not only determine who the primary artist in the city are, but to also give those artist an avenue of collaborating their expression.” He continues, “Artist are too often focused on their own success which forces them to ignore the bigger picture.” The big picture that Don B contends is being ignored is the fact that local communities are the key to music. Just like ATL artist get support from their constituents, and just like the citizens of NY and CA support their artist; this is the trend that Greenville, South Carolina must follow. The Mixtape is expected to release its contest CD this spring and release its actual CD to the public this coming summer.

Artist who wished to be updated on the Green Lights Mixtape are encouraged to follow one of the INpire’s social networks at /TheINpire.
