HotelREZ to sponsor GREEN AWARDS at London's Natural History Museum - 2nd December 2010

HotelREZ have taken a prerogative in this regard, by associating themselves with the United Nations Billion Tree Campaign, and thus working with member hotels to promote the environmental protection and forest restoration.

Under this campaign, world-wide member hotels offer a competitive Billion Tree Campaign Rate, and HotelREZ plants two trees for every two night stay booked at this rate.

In 2010 the Billion Tree Campaign aims to make a sustainable contribution to the 2010 International Year of Biodiversity, raising awareness of the importance of biodiversity for our well-being.

The GREEN AWARDS will be held on 2nd December 2010, hosted by eco celebrity Jo Wood and designer Wayne Hemingway MBE at the Natural History Museum, South Kensington London. This year, the GREEN AWARDS will honour Sir David Attenborough CBE with the GREEN Lifetime Achievement Award. Speakers for the gala ceremony include Rt Hon Chris Huhne MP, Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change, and Eric Falt, Assistant Director-General for External Relations and Public Information for the UNESCO.
