1800Skyride Supports Local Veterans’ Charity Golf Tournament

4th Annual "Operation Santa" event raises funds for Veterans in Canton, Georgia.

Nov. 24, 2010 - PRLog -- 1800Skyride donated two Skydiving Gift Certificates for a fundraiser for the Bridgemill Veterans Organization in Canton, Georgia.The fundraiser, a Golf Tournament, was held on November 5, 2010 at the Bridgemill Athletic Club in Canton, GA., and included extra events such as car giveaways and raffles.

The mission of Bridgemill Veterans Organization is to raise as much money as possible for Operation Santa, and since its inception in 2003; the organization has raised almost $180,000 and has touched the lives of over 3000 Georgia-based troops and families.

Last year funds from the event were used to deliver Christmas gifts to 432 children of Georgia-based troops that were deployed to the Global War on Terror (GWoT). Funds were also used to assist families of deployed troops who were in financial need and contributions were also made to the Mountain Ranger Charities of Camp Frank D. Merrill in Dahlonega.

1800Skyride was proud to have contributed to the fundraising efforts of The Bridgemill Veterans Organization.
