Mercedes-Benz of Greenwich Continues Tradition of Community Involvement this Holiday Season

Mercedes-Benz of Greenwich is proud to present the Reindeer Festival & Santa's Workshop between November 26th and December 24th. Families are welcome to participate in the festivities being held at McArdle's Florist & Garden Center in Greenwich.

On Friday, November 26th at 2:00 PM, Arthur Kitt Watson, Jr., Owner and Dealer Principal will accompany Santa and his reindeer down Greenwich Avenue. Proceeds help benefit Kids in Crisis, the only shelter of its kind in Connecticut.

Kids in Crisis assists children and families in need, and is designed to help them escape dangerous environments. Mercedes-Benz of Greenwich is proud to support this organization that helped 6,400 kids last year by offering things like medical care, emergency shelter, crisis counseling and prevention programs.

Saks Fifth Avenue in Stamford and Mercedes-Benz of Greenwich recently teamed up to offer the community fun and savings over the holiday season. The events included special savings at a “Family Shopping Event,” and a “Key to the Cure” shopping day in which a portion of their proceeds were donated to help breast cancer research. There were also raffles and give-aways in which a lucky entrant won an S-Class convertible for the weekend.

The Mercedes-Benz of Greenwich Dealership also continues to support Fresh Start, a program from Family ReEntry that gives individuals and families a second chance. Family ReEntry programs help people break out of the cycles of addiction, violence and other crimes by showing them there is a way to be free of the criminal justice system and start a new life. Mercedes-Benz of Greenwich is proud to have had workers, in the Fresh Start Program, assist during recent office relocations and looks forward to involvement with the program in the future.
