Cherry Creek North’s “Celebrity Santa” to feature Broncos’ Orton, Nuggets’ Andersen

Nov. 23, 2010 - PRLog -- DENVER – Denver Broncos record-setting quarterback Kyle Orton and Denver Nuggets superstar Chris “Birdman” Andersen wear the big red coat and white beard to play “Celebrity Santa” in Cherry Creek North’s annual holiday event at the JW Marriott on Monday, December 6 and Sunday, December 19. Tickets go on sale next week with all the funds raised through sales going to the athletes’ favorite charities.

Tickets to each Celebrity Santa appearance will go on sale Monday, November 29 at 10:00 am on Cherry Creek North’s website at http://www.cherrycreeknorth.com and are just $10. Both Celebrity Santa appearances require a ticket for admittance (ages 2 and older). Each person who purchases a ticket will also receive special holiday promotional discounts for shopping in the newly-renovated Cherry Creek North shopping area. Tickets are limited and expected to sellout quickly.

Orton will appear as Santa first on Monday, December 6 at the JW Marriott from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Chris “Birdman” Andersen will appear as Santa at the JW Marriott on Sunday, December 19 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Tickets to tell Christmas wishes to a “Celebrity Santa” are $10 each, with 100 percent of all ticket sales proceeds going to benefit Orton’s choice of Champa House, a program of the Denver Rescue Mission, and Andersen’s choice of the Alliance for Choice in Education (ACE), a program that provides academic scholarships to low-income families. Also, a small number of exclusive VIP Packages are also available for December 19, which includes the opportunity to have a private reception before the event with Santa Birdman. Tickets for the VIP event are $100 each, with all proceeds going to ACE.
