Save-A-Pet Announces Upcoming Events

Nov. 23, 2010 - PRLog -- (Port Jefferson Station, NY) — Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue and Adoption Center, Inc. announced that “Santa Claws” is coming down to Castaways, Save-A-Pet's retail store.

Pet owners and their families can bring their pets to Castaways on December 4 and 12 to have their picture taken with Santa. A professional photographer will be on hand to take the family portraits. Have your picture taken with your pet and/or children. You will receive a 5x7-inch print the same day.

Pictures will be taken from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on both days. All dogs should be placed on a leash and cats should be in a carrier.

Donations are $10, with proceeds going to benefit Save-A-Pet and its animal rescue and adoption and spay-and-neuter programs. Additional prints are available.

Castaways is located at 25 Chandler Square in Port Jefferson Village.

On December 5, Danfords Hotel & Marina will host a Psychic Day to benefit Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue and Adoption Center, Inc. from noon to 4 p.m. The hotel is located at 25 East Broadway in Port Jefferson.

Those in attendance can get readings from psychics, animal communicators, Tarot card readers, angel card readers, Reiki healers and more. (Please note: photos only for animal communicators.)

Readings are $25, $15 for each additional reading. Proceeds from the event will benefit Save-A-Pet and their ongoing mission to help homeless animals.
