Secure Access Technologies Provides Out-of-Band Two-Factor Authentication with ProtectID

Nov. 23, 2010 - PRLog -- Secure Access Technologies, a provider of security software and services to the banking, healthcare and public sectors, today announced that StrikeForce Technologies, creators of ProtectID®, have received the Notice of Allowance from the United States Patent Office For Its Application Titled “Multi-Channel Device Utilizing A Centralized Out-of-Band Authentication System”.

ProtectID® is an “Out-of-Band” multichannel, multi-factor authentication platform designed to authenticate users to online financial services, healthcare or government websites as well as remote access (VPN), domain access, software-as-a-service (Saas) providers and risk-mitigation of transaction based systems.  

“We are pleased that the Patent Office has determined that all of the thirty-four (34) claims in our patent application have been accepted,” says Mark L. •   Authentication methods that use passwords / pins / sms, voice or one-time-passwords in conjunction with a mobile phone
•   Biometric authentication methods such as voice verification and fingerprint verification
