Wide Band 4-Channel Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexer (CWDM)

Nov. 22, 2010 - PRLog -- Toronto, Canada - GAO Fiber Optics (www.GAOFiberOptics.com) has announced the release of this 4-channel CWDM, which is specially designed for line monitoring in WDM networks, access networks, metropolitan networks (MAN), cellular applications, fiber optic amplifiers and telecommunication systems.
This 4-channel CWDM has the advantages of low insertion loss, wide pass band, high channel isolation, high stability and reliability and an epoxy free optical path. It offers an operating wavelength range of 1460nm to 1610nm with a center wavelength accuracy of ±0.5nm. The minimum channel pass band is 15nm. The channel spacing is 20nm and the maximum power handling is 500mW. The multiplexer also allows for great flexibility by increasing the capacity of existing fiber infrastructure to eliminate the need to lay new fiber at full capacity locations.
