St. Vincent de Paul Begins Thanksgiving Week Outreach to Seattle Homeless & Needy - Donations Needed
St. Vincent de Paul of Seattle King County projects helping 4000-5000 homeless and needy people during Thanksgiving Week, thousands more on tight budgets and the environment in a multi-faceted outreach.

Five events during Thanksgiving Week (Tues. Wed. Thurs. Fri. Sun.):
Tues., Nov. 23--St. St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank Distribution 10am – 3pm 5972 4th Ave. S., Seattle, (1 mile South of Costco) 900 households projected
Wed., Nov. 24--St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank Distribution 11am – 2 pm, 5972 4th Ave. S., Seattle, (1 mile South of Costco) 400 households projected
Thur., Nov. 25--Thanksgiving Day Meal at Café Amore Restaurant at 2301 5th Ave. Seattle at noon until food is gone. St. Vincent de Paul is contributing to food items -1500 people projected
Fri., Nov. 26--Day after Thanksgiving 50% Sale at St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Stores
Sun., Nov. 28--St. Vincent de Paul Sunday Dinner at Blessed Sacrament Parish 11:30pm - 2:30pm - 400 people projected
Food Donations Needed: canned food -all kinds, stuffing mix, cranberries sauce, gravy mix, bread, rolls& traditional Thanksgiving food items

The 2-1-1 Community Information Line refers more people to St. Vincent de Paul than to any other agency in Seattle/King County. We make home visits to assess needs and prevent eviction, hunger, utility shut-off and more. We run food banks, meal programs, thrift stores, a case management program and other outreaches.
