Schaumburg Resident Wins Semi-Final Prize in Fox Valley Volkswagen's "LOVEbug2 Contest"

Nov. 22, 2010 - PRLog -- Donna Vieceli of Schaumburg was one of the final, monthly semi-final winners for Fox Valley Volkswagen’s LOVEbug2 Contest, which asks Chicagoland residents to nominate someone whose good deeds have gone a long way to help inspire them or others. She and the other November semi-finalists each won a Phillips® widescreen portable DVD player.

The contest ran June – November, 2010, and the 12 semi-finalists have been entered into the grand prize contest, which asks Chicagoans to vote for one final good-doer to win a new 2010 Limited Edition Volkswagen Beetle valued at $20,390. The grand prize winner will be announced Saturday, December 18 during a special award ceremony at Fox Valley Volkswagen’s West Chicago location.

Vieceli was nominated by her daughter, Michelle Lardin, for her lifetime of good deeds, from working two jobs to support her children as they were growing up, to giving complete strangers coats so they wouldn’t suffer in the cold. Her daughter refers to her as “everybody’s angel,” and hopes to give back to her with a Volkswagen Beetle, which has been Vieceli’s dream car for many years.
