Cirrus TGA Mass Spectrometer

Nov. 22, 2010 - PRLog -- The Cirrus TGA is an appication specific bench-top mass spectrometer delivering real time analysis of evolved gases and vapours from thermal analysis experiments. Each compact, fully integrated system has TGA specific hardware interfaces for trouble-free integration with most major TGA manufacturer models, including TA Instruments, Mettler Toledo, Netzsch, Perkin Elmer and Setaram.

Clumsy software integration is now a thing of the past with our brand new TGA Sequencer software application which provides seamless, single click connectivity with support for multiple TGA recipe steps. Data is now also output automatically in the correct TGA model file format for ease of overlay with thermal processing software, without first exporting to third party applications and changing file header formats.

Evolved gas composition changes are measured in less than 300 milliseconds and simultaneous measurement of several gases and vapours is standard, from 100% to part per billion levels.

Each Cirrus TGA - Mass Spectrometer has an on-board analyser bakeout oven and employs a completely oil free vacuum scheme whilst maintaining full compatibility with light carrier gas streams. This reduces spectral interference and extends the detection limit when analysing low level organic speciesand/or using helium carrier gas when measuring CO loss.
