“You don't need a fancy CRM system, with a ton of potential or known buyers loaded onto your desktop or floating in a computer cloud,” this expert says.

Goodman started his phone career at 18, as a full-time collector. At 19, he joined Time-Life Books, became the top seller and then a manager of 60 in two offices. Finding his “calling” early in life, he earned three degrees in Communications, including the PhD from The Annenberg School For Communication at the University of Southern California, where he also taught. Later, he picked-up his JD degree at Loyola Law School and an Advanced Executive MBA, studying with famed sage, Peter F. Drucker at the management school named in his honor at Claremont Graduate University.

“One call can fix everything,” Goodman muses. “You can earn a client, service an existing account, develop a strategic relationship, and start a business from scratch,” he smiles, having personally done all of these things in his consulting practice, while training thousands to follow his lead.

“That first call is always the hardest to make, but once you have done it, you'll find fortune's favor,” he predicts.
