Nov. 19, 2010 - PRLog -- Self discovery can take many forms. In the fascinating new novel Passing the Parcel, Georgina yearns to rediscover the imaginative girl she used to be.
Having lost sight of her fearless alter-ego, Gina, George sets out to become reunited. On the first day of her Humanities degree course, the body of a local missing girl is found.  Georgina becomes obsessed with female victims, and begins writing a historical novel about Marie, a young governess, in a house full of secrets.

As the mother of two teenage daughters who need her guidance, Georgina must make choices. She is enticed into playing some disturbing games that have the potential to destroy all she values. Passing the Parcel becomes such a game.

“Passing the Parcel is enormously inventive and, in the best sense, ‘playful’. It is also                                                                               disturbing and full of insight into the worlds of victims, including the strange                                                                                     consciousness of those who made creative                                                                                     victims of themselves.” – Professor Jon Glover, University of Bolton
