   From November 20 through Christmas, Santa will be greeting Wilderness Resort guests in the Wild Canyon Café from 9-10 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Families can even have a professional photo taken with the jolly ole’ guy from 10-4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays in the resort’s photo studio. Santa’s elves are also available to make deliveries and to do tuck-in services for good boys and girls visiting Wilderness Resort throughout the Christmas season.
   In addition, the resort’s Wild Canyon Café will be hosting a variety of delicious all-you-can-eat holiday dinner buffets which will feature roasted meats, smoked barbeque ribs and fish, as well as special kid-favorites. Plus, there will be a dessert table with all sorts of mouth-watering pies, cheesecakes and other sweet treats.
   The resort’s Tombstone Town Haunted Hotel attraction is also being redecorated for the holiday season and will feature a “Frightmare before Christmas” theme complete with broken toys, black Christmas Trees and more ghoulish fun.  
   For New Year’s Eve, Wilderness Resort will be throwing its annual huge bash exclusively for resort guests in two of its ballrooms. There will be all sorts of family activities, including a band and DJ dance party, party favors, photo opportunities and more.
   In addition to the holiday fun, Wilderness Resort has 250,000 square feet of indoor water parks for its guests to explore. One  water park, the Wild WaterDome, even has a see through roof which allows UV rays to permeate through it so guests can tan indoors year round.  This waterpark is also home to the Great Wave, the country’s largest indoor wave pool that generates waves up to five feet high.
   The resort’s other two indoor waterparks, Klondike Kavern and the Wild West Waterpark, are home to some pretty special attractions as well, including the Hurricane, a 4-person, thrill ride which plummets 58 feet, and the Black Hole, another thrill ride that takes two guests on an exciting swirlingjourney.
   Other dry options for adventures include Timberland Play Park, a 35,000 square-foot, four-story adventure with ball blasters, slides and crawl spaces; the OK Corral Lazer Tag Arena; The Wild Abyss and Wild Buccaneer indoor 3-D black light mini golf courses; ongoing scheduled WildKids Club activities; and paint your own pottery.
