"We have opened our new 4,600 square feet event center that will accommodate groups up to nearly 300," said Carmen Aurand, General Manager, Shining Mountain Golf Course.

About Shining Mountain Golf Course: What's commonly known today as Pike's Peak was originally named "Shining Mountain" by the Ute Indians because of how brightly the sun reflected off of the snow.
