Credit Damage Prevention & Recovery in a Contested Divorce: Topic of December 1 Legal Talk

Damage to credit due to a contested divorce can cause financial hardship for years. "Divorce & Credit Damage Prevention & Recovery" is the topic of a December 1 talk sponsored by the San Diego Paralegal Association (SDPA).
 
Nov. 17, 2010 - PRLog -- SAN DIEGO, CALIF.--Damage to credit due to a contested divorce can cause financial hardship for years. "Divorce & Credit Damage Prevention & Recovery" is the topic of a December 1 talk sponsored by the San Diego Paralegal Association (SDPA). The MCLE-approved program will be presented by credit evaluator Georg Finder and attorney Thomas Key.

   The two-hour presentation will focus on how to identify a credit damaged client in a divorce who may be eligible for compensation. It will also discuss credit-related documents and how to use them to determine damages, and the importance and limitations of credit reports and scores.

   The presentation will be held at Esquire Deposition (Emerald Plaza, 402 W. Broadway, Suite 1600, San Diego). Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. The presentation is from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The cost is $30 for SDPA members and $60 for nonmembers. Dinner is included.
