Follow on Google News | ARISE Drop It at the Door Training Incorporated in all 3 Branches of Florida Juvenile Justice SystemWest Palm Beach, FL - On Wednesday and Thursday, November 17–18, ARISE Foundation will conduct its Drop It at the Door training for staff of the Palm Beach Juvenile Justice Department of Probation.
By: Edmund Benson, ARISE Founder The ARISE: Drop It at the Door training is a two-day workshop designed to teach participants working with at-risk populations how to handle anger and stress through making better choices in their work and personal lives. This training gives participants a solid understanding of how each one of us can make the choice to drop home and work- related anger, stress, negativity, and frustration “at the door.” This intense anger and stress management workshop not only prepares participants to deal with difficult populations, but also teaches them how to avoid daily confrontation and altercations by using proven techniques and strategies demonstrated, understood and practiced in this unique training. The ARISE Drop It at The Door training program has been extremely successful in the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice, where it has been conducted and evaluated in various residential and detention facilities across the state. By expanding into the Palm Beach Juvenile Justice Department of Probation, ARISE will be incorporated in all three major juvenile justice branches in the state of Florida. “I feel the information obtained at the training will allow me to make better choices when dealing with my clients and family. I will remember I have the power to make positive choices and to let go of my anger,” said Elizabeth Miller, one of the juvenile probation officers that attended the ARISE: Drop It at the Door training. Since ARISE was established almost three decades ago, it has trained and certified over 5,760 group facilitators (instructors) r more information, please call Edmund Benson at ARISE toll-free: 1 (888) 680-6100 or visit http://at-riskyouth.org.
