New Library Location in NW Elbert County; Library District Announces Grand Opening of Singing Hills Service Outlet Providing Service to Nearby Residents

The outlet also includes a computer with public Internet access and a drive up book drop, located outside of the fire station, for returns during the week. The Elizabeth branch library will staff the service outlet on Tuesday evenings, from 3 pm to 6 pm, and Saturday mornings, from 9 am to 11 am. The Singing Hills Library Service Outlet is one more step in the Elbert County Library District's plan to extend the availability of library services to the residents of Elbert County. Funds for the new service outlet were made possible by a grant of $10,456 under the Library Services and Technology Act.

About the Elizabeth Fire Protection District. The Elizabeth Fire Protection District (EFPD), established in 1947 as the Elizabeth Fire Department, became a tax based special district n 1977.
