Wish Upon a Wedding Day Proclaimed in Houston, Texas

Nov. 15, 2010 - PRLog -- HOUSTON, TEXAS - Wish Upon a Wedding, the world’s first non-profit wish granting organization providing wedding and vow renewals for couples facing terminal illness and serious life-altering circumstances, held their inaugural Blissful Wishes Ball on November 11, 2010 at the Magnolia Hotel in Downtown Houston. In celebration of the strides this organization have accomplished in less than a year and active pursuit to continue to grow, The City of Houston commended Wish Upon a Wedding for its valiant efforts to bring joy to couples facing very difficult circumstances. Therefore, Annise D. Parker, Mayor of the City of Houston hereby proclaimed Thursday, November 11, 2010 as Wish Upon a Wedding Day.

“Wish Upon a Wedding has become a strong non-profit in such a short period of time and we credit our growth and success by being embraced by the wedding & special event industry and our community. We would not have been able to make such strides without the support of our great city and surrounding areas,” says Heather Hamilton-Sims, Wish Upon a Wedding’s Houston Chapter President.

The foundation was created to celebrate the courage, determination and spirit of these couples by granting their dream wedding wishes.
