Nov. 15, 2010 - PRLog -- Sometimes, when it is the right thing to do, we must attempt the impossible.

From the imaginative pen of Robert F. Nelson comes a tale, for children of all ages, about inner strength, perseverance and the triumph of the human spirit.

A village’s kind healer is transformed into an evil wizard because of the accidental death of his daughter. In misguided revenge, he places a terrible curse of a never-ending storm on the valley and entire village. Using his magic, he forces the village’s people to become his slaves. Through a freezing blizzard, an impossible rockslide and a magic maze of thorns and roses, a thirteen year-old girl struggles to reach the magician. With nothing but her courage and faith, she confronts the magician in a strange place of dark magic and contradictions. Her people’s lives will depend on what she finds and the sacrifice she makes.

“The Snows of Summer is a well-written, highly creative, and engaging story that is so descriptive, you can feel the cold wind on your face. This story will peak your interest and keep you captivated until the end.” — Shelly Simonyi, M.A., school psychologist
